Title: quick note about main site

Hey admin, I dont know if you realised but them main part of the site www.societyofrobots.com seems to be running slowly, it takes about 4 mnutes for me to display a page. The forum is running fine though

hmmm... seems to work fine for me... I just tested the home page and about 10 links... all loaded instantly.

Its strange because the title and title pictures load and then it takes about 4 minutes for the rest of the page to appear. The forum is fine though, I wonder if someones been messing with my internet settings...

most likely. It all loads instantly for me as well. What browser do you use? Which ISP do you have?

hmm, its working fine now ::)

I guess if its on a shared server, it might have been busy with other web sites

oh after about 4 minutes now the advertising bar on the right just displays a gateway timeout error from the google syndication

Yea I suspect that is the google ads failing to load.

I have been having problems with my host for a few months now too . . . they moved my site to the 'special' server for sites with a lot of traffic . . . but still the 'site unavailable' probs persist . . .

If anyone notices the site is down for more than 5 minutes, send me an email . . .
