Title: linux cad needed
Post by: frank26080115 on January 21, 2008, 02:35:18 AM
I already tried to install solidworks and alibre via wine, both failed.
If there is one that will work on linux or wine, let me know please
and it must be similar to solidworks, alibre, or inventor, nothing similar to rhino, 3dmax, or blender.

Have you looked at QCaD? It's really great with the exception of that it isn't capable of 3D. If you need 3D then I'm afraid I have no clue.

I dont know of any off hand, but you might be better off searching for a java 3d cad utility, since java isnt platform dependant (if its done right)
