Hey are there any other robot dedicated site like this one with a forums and stuff or is this the best it gets? Just wondering

I believe it is so good because all the information is easy to find, and is on one website. You could get spend 1 hour researching your robot on google, and spend 10 minutes on the forum and tutorials and woo-ala, you have all the info you need and more.

Yea i guess it is, so this is the only robot community? If so to me there isn't that much people compared to other hobbies online communities.

ofcourse it's not the only robot community, are you new here? (by "here" I mean the internet)
there are always dozens of sites/communities about any subject.

But this site and community is one of the best for beginning roboticists.

I think people are afraid of giving any links; Admin could set his robots on them any minute! :P

I tend to post over at the Lynxmotion (http://www.lynxmotion.com) forum. The forum is centered around the Lynxmotion shop, but as they are much for hexapods i tend to write there a little (I'm building a hexapod).

No im not new to the internet and in my earlier post i did acknowledge that i know that there are many people in online communities. But  anyways after i asked my question i was under the impression of this being the only community.
Also when i google robot forums or robotics forums i didn't seem to find any forums and if i did they weren't as nearly active as this one.

Hehe, dont think admin is the guy getting mad about those things, he would rather help him find another online robot community if this boyardee thinks some other place would fit hes need better =)

I just wanted to post my question on multiple sites to get more responses and wanted to see if this is the largest community so i wont be missing out on anything and this is the one.

Its the internet, kind of hard to hide links to other sites from anyone :P

SoR is the only robot forum on the internet that:
a) actually helps people, and in a timely/useful manner
b) isn't built around product support
c) admin makes sure every question is answered

 ;D

If anyone finds something better let me know, cause that means I need to work harder . . .
