Lego sells a Vision Command kit that has a Lego webcam (USB connector to the PC). You can't connect it directly to the RCX. The main problem of that webcam is that the wire is too thick and rigid that a light weight robot can't pull it sometimes. There are people on internet that have used a different camera with the RCX (something like the CMUcam on a IR to I2C converter). You may find more info at http://www.restena.lu/convict/Jeunes/RCXCam/RCXCam_Journal.htm (http://www.restena.lu/convict/Jeunes/RCXCam/RCXCam_Journal.htm)

hmm, what are the chances of emulating an USB host with a pic/avr and working with that?
(considering a webcam is a HID device and the protocol is standardised, which i doubt..)

i want to know how do you attach it to the crx?
