what should be the effective pulse width for running a dc motor (12 v ,100 rpm ,300 ma) at half speed
oh yes iam using l293d motor control

50%.
remember that frequency comes in the equation too. the higher, the better.
anything below 20khz will make an audible hum of that frequency.
