Title: Connecting Solar Cells?

Hi. Im making a Pummer. (A small robot that sits and blinks a led) and I was wondering how to connect a solar cell to a perf board. And well how to connect a resitor to the solar cell... ???

we need more details on what you are doing

Using a solar panel to power a timer which flashes an LED
The timer is either a  555 timer chip  or using a capacitor-transistor\

SOLAR CELLS HAVE A POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE CONNECTION JUST LIKE ANY OTHER BATTERY. IT JUST WONT BE AS POWERFUL

I know that it is postive and negtive. but it says on the back that I have to solder it on...anyways airman im using a capacitor.
