Title: schematics help pls?

hi im new here. i just started buildin the $50 robot. i live in singapore, cant order parts and almost no shops hv em.
i bought a board which comes wif ATMEGA 2561 and a 5v regulator, called "Meggy" board.
i also got a programmer AVRISPmkII wif a 6pin to USB cable.
i saw e schematics, and they were totally diff, pls help!
i'll attach the schematics of the meggy board, pls tell me how i can connect all e stuff tgt... i hv e prototyping board and other components..

A picture of the board really helps here but as I can see the only thing you have to do is to plug the 6 pin ISP
to a programmer and you have both power and a programmer attached...
What is your level of experience with electronics....
Do you have a programmer... you ought to... If not either make or buy one...

just plug it in? well, i'll attach a pic, was taken by my phone, so aint gd quality..
i jus hv to plug in the ISP? wat bout all the capacitors and resistors shown on the tutorial?
oh and to answer ur qn, im totally new to electronics.. i bought the AVRISPmkII programmer, 6 pin to USB
well, but im gd at taking things apart and making things out of em... =P
so wat do u reckon i shd do wif e board?

hmmm, i noticed on the schematics, they show MOSI, MISO wat are all those?
oh and e board i hv has RXD1 and RXD0, which do i use?

Go to atmel home site and download PDF of AtMega8 if you wan to see more detailed info of pin outs etc.

Hmmmm I recommend reading the $50 Robot tutorial carefully. Its a different chip, meaning the pin #'s are different, and the code needs some minor modifications, but otherwise its almost exactly the same steps.

The tutorial will explain how to do everything, you just need to think about it a bit to see how things are different.
