Title: OOPIC Book
Post by: andysell on April 10, 2008, 12:09:36 AM
Does anyone have this book? It seems out of print. I wanted to learn about the OOPIC-r and the website tutorial although ok, its a bit light on step by step examples. Anyone else got any ideas?

I have the book and the OOPic-R. I have used it as a serial servo controller, to controll an arm from the PC. I can give you the Visual Basic application controll and the OOPic program. Unfortunately I have burnt 6 of the 15 I/O ports that are "servo ready". But the rest of the board works perfectly. I have connected the servos to the remaining pins but I have lost the connections for the second arm. If you want the book and the OOPic-R, make me an offer.

I have the book. I don't remember where I found it, but I do believe it is hard to find. Don't buy it from Amazon, their sellers are ridiculously overpriced, try searching around.
