Title: AVR Simulator

What is the best way for simulating AVR code???
I need to check if I get the desired output for given inputs....

AVR studio is a debugger
you can use proteus isis as a simulator

there's also AVRora, but I never got the hang of it.
it's a pretty neat simulator of the AVR platform, but it's written in java.

have u ever tried Vmlab its very cool even allows u to simulate slider voltage for ur adc

and there is also AVR Simulator IDE from oshonsoft.
but it's not very well written, although it has a lot of peripherals (lcd, eeprom, stepper, etc)
