What's the difference between an interface & a development board? Are they the same?

An interface:
An interface defines the communication boundary between two entities, such as a piece of software, a hardware device, or a user.
Development board:

I'm interested in this as well.
I believe a demo board is like a dev board but without all the features or a board that has extra circuitry to show off the different features of the board.
I tried google'ing it but no luck. :P

demo board is a board that companies give out to try it out , like a show off board
dev board is for building robots on and well , developing. This is like the Axon board
