Title: What can I salvage from 2 CRT monitors?
Post by: Bajanick on June 18, 2008, 07:57:09 PM
Ive got two CRT monitors that I plan on recycling but will be removing the flybacks for making some jacobs ladders when i get around to it  :-\

Is anything salvageable in a monitor for robotics use? or any other type of electronics projects?

Thanks............    :)

Has anyone else done this before? I also have a CRT monitor at home for pulling apart but have been skeptical about the internet when it can relay 25k V through me... Any tricks of the trade?

*Removed directions how to do this. Do a simple google search if you are interested, I just don't want someone coming after me if they injure themselves :)*
