Title: What do you call this PVC part?

Anyone know what this part is called? I've been looking for over an hour but can't find the damn name!

Its a slip joint nut. They make em in metal too.

now I don't have to refer to them in my tutorial as "that plastic connector thingy with a threaded connector"
