Hello SoR members,
I primarily use Mac OS X Leopard - at the moment 10.5.3 - as my operating system. I've an iMac and a MacBook Pro; this can make for some problems programming MCUs. There is a solution, to dual boot XP using Boot Camp - I could also run Vista, but I prefer XP. After a quick google search for Windows XP discs I find nothing; does anyone know stores that still carry the discs for it?

nope. they're not prodcued anymore, most of the stuff related to xp is discontinued. hooray for microsoft (hooray = to stab smb in the eye)
Legally speaking, you can get vista with a downgrade option.
Less legally speaking, there's the bittorrent o/s :P

Man...
I think getting an original os is one thing...
But it's the only original thing in my pc!!! :P
If must.... download...

XP is still carried by a bunch of the larger tech stores. NewEgg has it, both home and pro, as does BestBuy.

If you have SP1 you could upgrade
also the thing with the torrents
its not illegal to download the windows CD , however it is illegal to crack the installer. If you still have a valid key ( or you could buy one still) then its all perfectly legal. Remember that the store is selling license keys, they don;t really care about the installer.

You can usually buy the cd's and license keys on ebay

Target has the disk for $99.99.

use parallels, or fusion by vmware to run windows
and just download the TinyXP torrent. Its a stripped down version of XP (no bloatware) that is meant to run on older machines, or car pcs
