Title: $50 robot - Servo Protection
Post by: boyb on July 02, 2008, 06:43:37 PM
In the $50 robot, why are there no diodes or h-bridge setup for the servo motor.  Are these components inside of the servo?

Also, can a modified servo go backwards, or just forward motion at different speeds?

Thanks!

servos have all that built in. Look below , that circuit board converts PWM to rotation angle ( or speed in modified servos)

Servos go backwards and forwards, this includes modified ones. Different pulses mean diff. directions and diff. speeds
