I know there is a link somewhere on this site but I have looked and cannot find it. Where can I buy one of those Magic Mirrors like the one in the Sharp IR tutorial? Preferably from Digikey if they have it.

It's in my Sharp IR tutorial (http://www.societyofrobots.com/sensors_sharpirrange.shtml). I found it in a box at work during spring cleaning. It was in a pile of 10 years worth of random stuff.
Judging by what is written on the card, I think it was just a freebee handout . . .

I googled it and found this http://www.maxmax.com/DetectionCards.asp this http://www.fiberoptics4sale.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=F1-IDC and this http://webtronics.stores.yahoo.net/indetcarif.html I'm not sure if they will work though.

Precciate the links. Wow, who woulda thought they'd be 20+ bucks! Might be worth the investment. Last time I used the Sharp IRs they detected a lot of "ghosts". :P

hi, i think that there's no need for you to buy the card, because even though your eyes can't see the IR beam, every digital camera is able to show it, even the mobile phones's.. so, just turn on the camera and point it to the emitter and you'll see it like any usual led ;)
