Title: Beginner question: Motor position feedback
Post by: kuma on August 04, 2008, 10:22:30 AM

Please forgive my ignorance as I'm new to engineering, electronics and robotics!

I'm looking for information around stepper or servo motors that can have their position set by hand and provide feedback on this position.

Any guidance on what type of components I would need to achieve this?

Any help appreciated!
