Way to go, Admin!  You've reached robotics journalistic bigtime.  Is a feature in Robot magazine in your future as well?

wow you guys are quick! It was only official as of yesterday!

Anyway, you know what this means? Anything you guys post on the forum that impresses me (such as bots you make), will get posted on Automaton. Potentially, this means 15 minutes fame for your robot ;D

The word automaton is older than the robot/robotics, I think.

Of course!

But I didn't know the word "automaton", and related with robotics, in spanish, sounds funny :)

From http://www.thefreedictionary.com/automaton

au·tom·a·ton  (ô-tm-tn, -tn)
n. pl. au·tom·a·tons or au·tom·a·ta (-t)
[Latin, self-operating machine, from Greek, from neuter of automatos, self-acting; see  automatic.]

By te way... in spanish is also "automata"
