Title: neat arduino compatible board!!!
Post by: sonictj on August 09, 2008, 02:33:39 AM
I found this new arduino compatible board today that I though I should spread the word about.
http://sanguino.cc/start (http://sanguino.cc/start)
Its is called the sanguino and is based on the atmega644P.

price is $25 and another $20 for a usb to ttl cable

 (blurb from site)
32 total general purpose I/O pins (some are multipurpose)
 8 analog pins
 6 PWM pins
 64K flash memory
 4K RAM
 2K EEPROM

I just thought this might be of some interest to people like me who love their arduino, but want more power.  I'm probably gonna pick one up when I find I can no longer do with just 16K of flash memory :P.

For a very early Axon prototype, I used the 644.

You can see it in the video on this page:

Its pretty decent.
