Title: I need help with a lil bit more of a problem
Post by: vbman4life on September 10, 2008, 12:23:59 AM
Is there anyway to build a robot that flies. I mean i have a tinkerbell that has the wings that flap and was wondering is there a way to make it fly around the room and stuff like that.     If there is i would love to know and after that if yall have an answer for this also do u know if you can make it land on a bracelet or something without a control

well first of all, do you have the knowledge and ability to make a robot with wheels that stays on the ground?

I agree with pomprocker. Building even the most simple robot might take alot of time and effort and if you take on a big project like flying you might find you have taken on too much. Depends on your previous experience from robotics though, and if you are motivated enough, I'm sure you can make tinkerbell fly!  ;D

my regards

a flying robot is very nice to imagine but very difficult to make, u need to have idea abt accelerometers, gyroscopes, gps etc etc to do it

u need extreme budget and a big heart to overcome constant failures and tests ,1st try out some simple robotics, bcome familier with land robots ,make more land robots then go to some flying bot...
