Title: Good Microcontroller?
Post by: Orrin on September 22, 2008, 09:01:16 PM
I'm starting on my first robot, and I'm not quite sure what to do. I think I want to make a simple sumo bot, or two crossed Sharp IRs for object avoidance. I don't want to just copy and paste the scripts, I want to learn as much as I can on my own. Before I order all of my other parts, I want a solid program for my robot, so I need to choose a microcontroller. What do you think of this one:

Is it a good one to start out on? Is it good for my future projects? Or is this horrible and am I way off the mark?

Any help is appreciated greatly!  :)

I wouldn't recommend that microcontroller because it doesn't have a power bus or any tutorials with it.
