Title: Programmer

Have I just built the wrong programmer?
I built this one: http://www.instructables.com/id/SOY8HWUFEQHFI42/ (http://www.instructables.com/id/SOY8HWUFEQHFI42/)
I want to program a 18F4550. Using MPLAP & C18. I know the pins aren't right, but can't this be solved by connecting the needed holes in the socket to the right pins?
