Title: How to connect Dimension Engineering ACCM3D Accelerometer?
Post by: Razor Concepts on October 16, 2008, 03:27:16 PM
I just got the Dimension Engineering ACCM3D Accelerometer and saw that it has pins I dont have a connectors for. What kind of connector will I need?

you can still use Molex connectors

It plugs into a DIP chip socket

Quote
It is designed to fit in the DIP-16 form factor, making the DE-ACCM3D suitable for breadboarding, perfboarding, and insertion into standard chip sockets. To keep things as simple as possible, there are only 5 pins - two for power, and three for the X, Y and Z analog outputs.

Yeah a 16 pin DIP socket is what you want, also it will go straight into a bread board for prototyping your circuit. :)
