Title: XBEE question

I've just bought two Xbee Series 2  modules and what i'm supposed to do next?
Can i simply connect one module to the microcontroller (TX,RX,VCC,GND) and the other to the other microcontroller the same way, and everything will work??

Yes.  It's as simple as that.  The one consideration is the signal levels.  The XBEE runs at 3.3V.  If your micro is 5V, you'll need to do some level shifting.  I believe Sparkfun has the circuit documented.  I bought my carrier boards from them.

I read somewhere that you can use 5v uart with the xbee with no problems, is that wright?
And also you must command the xbee to use a specific network which both of them should be using so it's a bit more complicated then simply turning on the modules and everything will work.
