Title: Soldering wires

Is there some kind of nifty trick or tools involved in getting beautiful, straight, mess-free connections with wiring such as Admin's in the $50 Tutorial? I end up having to overshoot the length and sort of loop them to the connections. That ends up in a huge mess of loopy wires that, predictably, get in the way.

In before 'years and years of experience.'  ;D
