Title: the $50 robot

i want to built the $50 robot but some parts are missing.

CdS Photoresistors (5-Pack)

can somebody suggest a replacement for them

Go to your local radioshack and they should have the photoresistors and grid-style pc board. If you dont have one near you, just look on ebay and there are tons of photorestistors and pc boards online. As for the programmer just google it and you can find it at other stores besides sparkfun.
