In the IR sensor tutorial on this website, it seems like the IR emitter, detector diodes he used was at Rshack,

am i wrong?
Can anyone show me a link of these two products on Mouser? I am definitely not willing to spend 3.50 on this and I looked awfully hard, also does anyone have a mouser link to these:

CdS photoresistors?
I searched both and I didnt think photoresistors and phototransisotrs (what mouyser has) were the same

Photoresistors will change their resistance based on the level of light that hits their cadmium sulfide(CdS) traces.
Phototransistors work differently. I cant really explain it in my owns words as I myself dont know exactly how they work, I just know theyre very different. To help out, skim through this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phototransistor#Other_modes_of_operation its under "Other modes of operation"
Hope this helps

Note: Please allow for much more than an hour and a half to get an answer. Wait at LEAST 12 hours before "bumping". Though bumping is semi frowned upon in help forums if im not mistaken... unless of course like 2 or 3 days goes by without an answer :-p

You didnt answer my question, I know how they work, I just need a Mouser link. :/

ah crap sorry. I read your last sentence and mis-interpreted it. Sorry >_<

I'm confused whether you want photoresistors or IR emitter/detector pairs . . .
tons of IR:

you can find the photoresistors on digikey
ps - I deleted your bump (the appropriate bump is about 2 days wait or so)
