Title: Basic Blink program
Post by: Dscrimager on December 03, 2008, 10:10:53 PM
I'm still trying to verify that everything is okay with my setup.
I've been downloading programs and getting some results until the CRC thing popped up. Now I get no CRC errors but none of the programs that I download seem to run at all, even the simple Blink LED one.

Does anyone have a small, verified Hex file that just blinks the LED that I can upload to verify the functioning of the board and my bootloading upload?

I get garbage USB output from the axon_txt.hex file, but I was getting output from the rprintf just fine with my programs...

Thanks in advance for any help.

Try the DAQ program:

OK, worked like a charm and once I got some other stuff settled down (cross my fingers) I seem to be back on track. ( see the post on the CRC error).

I still get garbage from the axon_tst.hex file no matter what I do but I am getting good results from axon_DAQ and my own stuff right now.

I am really jazzed about this board, it's like the ultimate robot board....

Thanks for your help

I know its been a long time since your problem and this is probably irrelevant now, but I recompiled the axon_tst.hex file with the latest code and its working fine for me.

Excellent, I'll hopefully try it this weekend to see the results. I hate mysteries in computers; they are supposed to be logical ( but then since everything is really analog that not even true),..
