i want to communicate my motor driver with my computer serially so i am looking for a serial to ttl converter. if u have any idea then pls give me the proper link

Is a serial to ttl converter like a MAX232 chip? Here's what I'm using to interface a dsPIC with a laptop: http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/max232.html

You want a serial to TTL adapter, or a USB to TTL adapter? Most computers don't have serial these days . . .

ya i want usb to ttl converter .is it reliable and where i can find it.
