hey guys .. i want to know whats the current consumption of max232 ic and max233 ic ... i cant find in datasheet .. plz help

Google "MAX232"; The first 2 links are for datasheets with the 3rd link being a link to the chip manufacturer.

i have seen the datasheet but i cant able to find current consumption or say power consumption of this max232 or max233 ic.... plz help

It says this on the first page (7th boolet in the boolet-ed list):
"Low Supply Current . . . 8 mA Typical"

On the third page you have a table with the electrical characteristics of the device.
It says there "Icc Supply current: 8 mA typical, 10ma max"
