Title: Axon Problem
Post by: Jdog on January 05, 2009, 05:33:26 PM
I just got my axon in the mail and tried to plug in a 6 volt battery pack. When I plugged it in and turned it on nothing happened. I made sure the polarities were correct and checked the voltages. Its putting out 5.92 volts. Does it matter that I'm using non-rechargeable alkaline batteries?

Nvm, It was just a faulty switch.

It was actually a problem with the connector that probably heppened at my house. I think there was a little bit of solder that fell out of my desoldering pump and stuck to the connector, connecting both wires and shorting the battery. I fixed it in 30 seconds once I realized it was the connector.
