I accidentally burned up my Dual serial motor controller and need a new one. Just thinking if anyone could suggest something similar and approximately the same price.

hi, the link doesn't work and how did you fry it?
does it look like this?

The board looks like a standard footprint that ive seen before.
You can just buy new mosfets (the 8 pin ic's) and resolder them.
If i remember the mosfets are easier to replace than they look, their outputs are paralelled so some of the pins are joined through the circuit board. I think the top 3 pins on the right are usually sharing the same solder pad so the fineish solder pitch isnt really that difficult (check it out first though, try and trace the circuit a bit.)
Also ive seen people piggyback an extra layer of mosfets onto the originals to prevent burning out better (a heat sink would also be beneficial)

I didn't burn out the MOSFETs... I burned out the chip :'(

lol
yea I guess I could replace the chip.....I've soldered the FT232 , so I think I have the skills necessary to replace it. :P

take a look at my L298 Motor driver thread, maybe you'll want to make one :)
