Title: Roboduino Battery?
Post by: offy on February 19, 2009, 02:55:27 PM
So I have a battery pack I use for not, it is 6V, has 4x AA batteries in it. But it wont power my roboduino unless it is plugged into USB. What battery pack should I get so I can run it without a USB being plugged in?

if i remeber correctly there is a jumper that you can switch over to external pwr, or if not check the battery with a meter.

also is your battery rechargeable? if so try recharging it.

Yes move the jumper so that its connecting the middle jumper and the one FARTHEST from the USB that is next to the barrel jack.

On the place where the battery plugs in the center is for the RED (voltage) and the two outer headers are both grounded so it doesnt matter which way you attach your battery assuming it has a hitec connector.
