Title: X,Y,Z axis usb servo?
Post by: Symantic on March 26, 2009, 09:45:33 PM
Hi, im not a mechanical engineer, i tend to stay more to the software.

I need a base of some sort that i could add components on (small, maby 4"X4") and i need this to move fast.

It would idealy be controlled via USB port.

Something like a joystick operated camera stand, but without the camera. I have my own that i would mount.

Any ideas that would be great.

Also i could reverse engineer the USB connection if necessary.

Thank you

I am guessing you are asking how to build a robot chassis?

two links to start reading:

You can also buy and hack an RC chassis if you don't want to spend too much time on hardware.
