its about both! :o

I think it's about wearing shoes in the house while playing with a computer controlled R/C car in the house. Both of which have gotten me in trouble with the boss. lol

I'm American so we wear shoes in the house. When I lived in Korea for a year I had to learn to remember to take my shoes off before entering someone's house. It was pretty funny because the guest sippers never fit my gigantic American foot! I had to walk around with my heals hanging off the back of the slippers.

that happened to a friend of mine and everybody just looked at him really funny then yelled at him, over here in aus we prefer to take shoes off in the house but its alright if we just walk to our room then take em off if they're clean.

wow
I never knew that there were different shoe-wearing traditions :D

everywhere in the world has different traditions, if your in their country you obey by their traditions, its just common manners.

Until I started to travel I never knew there were so many different traditions and customs. It's really cool to learn about the customs when you visit a different culture. There are always many differences that you would have never thought about; everything from shoe wearing to how to exchange money.
