When I lived in Korea for a year I had to learn to remember to take my shoes off before entering someone's house. It was pretty funny because the guest sippers never fit my gigantic American foot! I had to walk around with my heals hanging off the back of the slippers.

Until I started to travel I never knew there were so many different traditions and customs. It's really cool to learn about the customs when you visit a different culture. There are always many differences that you would have never thought about; everything from shoe wearing to how to exchange money.
