Title: Which Resister for Photosensor?
Post by: jaabot on May 14, 2009, 08:23:17 PM
Just about finished with the $50 robot. I have a question about the photosensors.

I cannot tell from the instructions which resistor to use: the 1.62 K OHM or the 340 OHM? Can anyone tell me?

Also, I am using the medium sized photoresisters from the Radioshack pack. Is this OK? Thanks.

In the tutorial, Admin says he used a 1.5k ohm resistor with the medium size photo sensor.  I used the 1.62k ohm resister with each photo sensor  since the 340 ohm was used for the LED on the board.

Thanks very much. I must have missed that.
