Title: Wall climbing/object collecting robots - ASME Robot Competition 2009

About a dozen different examples of robots collecting objects and climbing large obstacles.

that is not autonomous, right?

some of them appear to have human input because of the cords?

The guys that figured out to put a bridge over the first 2 x 4 and drive around the rest of them collecting the rocks definitely had the right idea. They collected all the rocks at one time and then just drove back over their bridge :)

any one know what treads were used on the Grand Valley robot? or were they custom?


Also, was this autonomous or RC? it seems like its RC, epically if you look at other videos from the competition.
