Title: Exteroceptive Sensory Systems Paradigms
Post by: sailos chamwapiwa on May 25, 2009, 05:53:39 AM
Exteroceptive sensors are external sensors that interact mechanically with the human environment. These sensors are applicable in non-industrial robots but are crucial in anthropomorphic robot such as the Androids and Humanoids. To accelerate robot perplexity in human environment the robot is augmented with these sensors.Note that it is not only human environment where these robots can be employed but in some obscure and unknown environment by humans such as the space with few astroengineers well acknowledged.
In such unfriendly environment exteroceptive sensors are crucial in communication and coordination of the robot with the harsh environment and its operator. The theme of sensory differs with task in completion such as proximity concern with distance.

Research types of exterocepitve sensors that are crucial for space exploration and develop any sensor mode that can be applied in space that is not currently in use?.
