Title: How to choice cable - AWG

Hallow friends,
There is some tables in the internet that note what is the maximum ampere that
I can pass in this cable
I need to pass 500 mili ampere and 5 volt DC in cable AWG 26
But in the table say that the maximum ampere is 361 mili ampere

in wikipedia say that AWG 26 is Serial ATA
if I put Parallel ATA this can solve the problem of the maximum ampere in cable
also I have wire to board header connector that in the datasheet say that every pin can
use 1 ampere and in the datasheet he recommend to use AWG 26 cable
how this matching with the AWG table

361 mili ampere are Maximum amps for power transmission of 120Vac, if you look at the Maximum amps for chassis wiring is 2.2 Amps mean that low voltage will be able to use up to 2.2A

AWG 26 is NOT Serial ATA. SATA is using AWG26 wire to connect.

The amount of current that can flow through any gauge is dependant on the temperature raise (and resistance) in the wire that you are willing to accept.

If you pick 5°C higher or lower, the current rating will differ quite a bit.

And before you ask... The design parameters are what determines the needed temperature parameters.
