Title: Recycling Ni-cad Battery pack
Post by: SeagullOne on July 19, 2009, 10:18:01 PM
Not absolutely sure if this is the right section to post this, but here it goes.

I have this old ni-cad battery pack from an RC tank that I want to get rid of via recycling it. It's a 9.6V battery pack with shrink wrap and leads.

Before I take it to the recycling center (along with the hulking load of alkaline and old SLA batteries I'm planning to recycle), should I take off the heat-shrink wrap and leads first? I'm thinking that what I ought to do...

Hi,

Better leave it on, that way they'll know what goes where!
