Title: Need help finding a 60Hz Notch Filter
Post by: Ocelot on July 21, 2009, 06:41:58 PM
Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy a 50-60Hz notch filter IC. I've tried digikey and mouser and neither of them supply notch filters anymore.  =\ whats up with that?

Thanks.

If you can't find the IC sold anywhere you might consider making one yourself...  In the following link is a simple circuit using a 741 op-amp that filters out the 60Hz component in an input frequency reducing it by 3dB...  hope it is of help...
