Title: hooking up motor driver with axon
Post by: ukesh on July 24, 2009, 07:49:53 AM
Heya!

I want to control two motors with PWM using a motor driver through axon.
The driver i will be using is this: http://robokits.co.in/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=176

So, i connect the motor terminals to the MOTOR1 & MOTOR2 pins. Connect the supply to VDD & GND. To use the PWM i connect two digital pins in the axon to the pins PWM1 & PWM2 on the motor driver board. Is this right? And what are the other pins used for?

enable (turn it on and off)
current sensing (if you wanted to know/limit it)

the datasheet will explain it all:
