hah, nice... i might give this a go with my lead free solder sometime...
i don't know why everyone hates it so much.

The lead-free from years ago was pretty bad. I think it has been improved a lot.
The keys to good soldering are having clean parts, using flux, and getting the joint up to temperature. Lead-free works best with immaculately clean copper.

i still stick with leaded solder. It may have been the quality of the lead free solder i used but it did not feel as nice as the lead solder.

heh, dick smith had it half the price of the leaded counterpart ;D

well yon never know smash, i guess at that price i may get some lead free solder and try it again see if it has improved.
