Title: Axon 3.3v pinout --- Help Required
Post by: saliraza on August 23, 2009, 11:28:29 PM
Hello,

On the Axon board, right next to the USB (UART1), there is a three header pins [-,+,?] - is ground, + is 3.3v, I need to know about the ? third pin .... is it grounded or connected to the PCB circuit in anyway.

I want to use it for an additional 3.3v pin by jumping + pin to ? pin ....

Any help will be appreciated.... thanks

Ali

i don't think so, i think it is just for ease of use with both 3 pin and two pin connectors...
the datasheet for the axon doesn't show anything being connected to it...
maybe just check if it is connected with a multimeter to be sure?

Its unconnected.

The reason is your typical Hitec style connector is ground, power, signal/disconnected. This way if you plug it in backwards, nothing will break.
