Title: Sprocket Metric to English

I want to attach a #35 Pitch sprocket like this

to the shaft of this motor

The problem is I cannot find a #35 Pitch 8mm bore sprocket anywhere.  Any ideas or sites to find metric sprockets?

what if you get one that's slightly smaller and drill it?

You might be able to drill it, do you have access to a mill as that would make it really easy, and you may even be able to mill your own sproket(maybe just buy it as it would be more accurate).

you can make a tanstion connector to connect your motor shaft and sprocket.

I had a very similar problem as yours.  I'm assuming you've checked for off-the-shelf sprockets at McMaster et. al.
I went to Maryland Metric.

They will bore any sprocket to any shaft bore.  If you need, they will cut a keyway and tap for set screws as well.  I had sprockets made for about $35 apiece.

BTW, their web site blows.  But in the end I got a perfectly machined sprocket that fit perfectly.

Also, I found a couple of 8mm bore #35 roller chain sprockets at Stock Drive www.sdp-si.com (http://www.sdp-si.com).  But they're acetal resin (not steel) and there's only a couple of sizes.  It might work for you, though.
