Title: irrigation system using avr

i want to make an irrigation system using avr (ATMega8535) the project is like that:
a canal has a water seneor to check the water level if it was low it stops the motor
then a stepper motor that helps in pumpin the water to the land
which by its turn has two sensors one to check when the land surface dries and open the motor and the other under the land and stops the motor when water reaches it..
their is a keypad & an LCD to put the passward which starts operating the motor
