Title: autonomous "GRID FOLLOWING ROBOT"

i am working to build an autonomous "GRID FOLLOWING ROBOT".microcontroller used by me is ATmega8.and the wireless communication module used is cc2500.the program should be developed in such a logic that ,"when the coordinate e.g.(1,2) as 0x12 then the robot should follow some suitable path to  reach that coordinate.plz ... i need help in developing the code.

Gooday, you may do well to expound a little on the physical design of your 'bot, so that people may better know what we have to work with.  I know a little about programming, but I'm not sure if I can help until at least know how your robot detects the lines.

By the way, that is just a cool idea... I think I might try to build that myself!
