Hey guys,
Me and my cousin (I studied programming and my cousin electronics) have decided to try and build a robot. Simple thing. So to get the parts I hit ebay and I've got the AVR ATmega8 micro controller and an Atmel ISP Programmer.
Now that I'm doing some research I'm having doubts (loads of them, about loads of things) particularly if I can program my microcontroller with this programmer... would it fit?
Excuse my ignorance, I'm just trying to teach myself.
Thanks for your time,
m4nti

thanks joker...
checking out the programming header thingy... do I need to buy one of those? Or is it just a couple of connectors?

The programming header is just a couple of rows of male breakaway headers.
