Title: $50 robot compiling error Vista 64

I am completely new to all of this. I am using Vista 64 bit and am getting this error:

Photovore_v1.c:108: fatal error: opening dependency file .dep/Photovore_v1.o.d: No such file or directory
compilation terminated.
make: *** [Photovore_v1.o] Error 1
Build failed with 1 errors and 0 warnings...
  :-[
I looked at Webbot's link and just about killed myself trying to figure it out. ??? ??? Can someone give a step-by-step tutorial on how in the halibut to do this? Much obliged to anyone who does. ;D

I don't have 64 bit, or even Vista, so can't really tell you to do more than whats in that thread. What did you try?

I'm not sure what to try, because I have no idea what all the programming lingo means.

1a) Should I try installing the stuff from the links?

1b)If so, where should I install it?
