hey guys,
just wondering where u guys get ur materials for making PCB's, like
-copper clad board
- etch solution
also what etch solution do u think is best?
-
I get mine from the equivalent to your radio shack...
As for etchant, i use ammonium persulphate, works great every time and is reusable, not to mention clean!
-
i mostly get them etched from nearby (safer option)but i use fecl3 which sucks in many ways(not easily disposable) but u eventually get the results

I've never bought any etching supplies, but I have looked into it.
Do you have an Active Electronics Supplies Depot nearby?
their site: www.active123.com (http://www.active123.com)
(you can find their store locations on the site)
They sell a wide variety of circuit etching products, as well as other electronics. And yes, they do have ammonium persulphate ;)
