does any one know where the best place to buy SMD(surface mount devices) from as my current stocker doesnt stock SMD's.

Are we talking about ic's, leds, resistors... Or all of them?

and one question how hard are the ic's to solder? I have allot of soldering experience.

It takes a bit to get used to SMD but after that its easy. Just make sure you have solder wick ;D

Smd ic's aren't too hard to solder, if you get some practice you will be fine.
If you can, dig out some boards with smd ics, desolder them then resolder them down and see if you can get a good job.
